One year ago today your father and I heard your voice for the very first time. From that moment on our lives were forever changed and our purpose in life had been redefined. As tears welled up in our eyes we knew the journey we were about to embark on as parents would fill our hearts with ever lasting joy and happiness.
The past year we have watched you rapidly grow, from the first time you smiled in your sleep to the first step you took. We have also grown, you have made given life a new meaning and value. Everything we do is for you. I feel so blessed to be your mother.
I know each year of your life will bring us more memories and happiness. I look forward to hearing all of the giggles your little body has to offer, and all of the singing in the car that your vocal cords can tolerate. It is simply music to my ears.
